About grunt gallery

Grunt is a non-profit society (The Visible Arts Society) run by a board of working artists. Our mandate is to maintain a space accessible to artists and audiences. We focus on work that would otherwise not be seen in Vancouver. Our programming is a mix of emerging and senior artists and a selection of local, national, and international work.
Grunt interprets its history and programming as a variety of initiatives around evolving concepts of community. Our role has been to act as an intersection between various cultural groups based on aesthetics, medium, or identity. Grunt also has a long-term mandate in First Nations contemporary art that is reflected in our programming, our staff, and on our board.
grunt gallery legacy fund - take an active part in creating a sustainable future for the grunt gallery, the opportunities we create for artists and our ongoing contribution to contemporary art.
